Your Bio

As I enter into mid-life an old passion of mine was reignited - photography.

I have happily discovered that, since I first took it up in 1984, photography has come a long way in making it easier to learn but all of the fundamentals haven't changed since I had used my first camera - the Olympus OM-10.

I hope you enjoy my pictures for what they are - moments of time caught forever in a picture

I am currently writing about my journey through the Lighting 102 course from strobist.com. This is the best online course for learning about off camera flash (and it's for free!)

A number of people have commented on that this flower remind them of the Georgia O'Keeffe pictures - you can see them at www.okeeffemuseum.org/indexflash.php

This was my very first pinhole photo made with the camera cover with a hole in the middle and covered in foil.

I need to make a smaller hole in the foil and also try and get another cover an make the hole dead center.

Although it's not brilliant - it is a good reminder how photos were made :-)

Strange Plant If anyone knows the name of this plant please let me know.
